ANOXART was developed by Orbis Conservation Ltd and Soteria Conservation Ltd with the aim to eradicate insect infestations in art collections. With 30 years of collective experience in conserving organic materials, pests have been a long-term battle for both parties. 

We struggled to find a service that suitably treated the infestation, whilst ensuring the safety of the object. Anoxic (low oxygen) environments provide this balance, but we found there was not a readily available facility offering this treatment option. 

We have devised an innovative system whereby artefacts can be safely treated both onsite or at our studio facilities in London. Our anoxic chambers can be tailored to the objects' requirements both in terms of scale and environmental recommendations. 

Furthermore, our background in conservation and combined knowledge of materials, experience in packing and transporting important artworks, and the necessity for condition reports, means we are able to provide an end-to-end service safe-guarding the object at all times.
